Role Purpose:

As Head of Operations, South West Europe, you will lead and align operations across six international markets - Spain, Italy, France, the UK, the Netherlands and Belgium. Based in Barcelona, you will drive operational excellence, regional collaboration and continuous improvement while partnering with senior business leaders to deliver scalable, high-performing operations that support sustainable business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational alignment and execution across six South West Europe markets, ensuring consistent standards, governance and performance

  • Partner with senior stakeholders, including VP, EVP and Board-level leaders, to shape operational strategy and drive regional priorities

  • Lead and develop large international Operations teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on engagement, collaboration and continuous improvement

  • Drive operational transformation through process optimization, innovation and the implementation of scalable solutions across people, processes and systems

  • Define and monitor regional KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and ensure operational excellence across all markets

  • Build strong partnerships with local leadership teams to balance regional consistency with local business needs

 

What You Need in This Role to Succeed:

  • Extensive leadership experience managing international Operations or Shared Services organizations across multiple countries

  • Proven success leading large, geographically dispersed teams of 100+ employees with a strong focus on employee engagement and development

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience influencing and presenting at VP, EVP and Board level

  • Demonstrated track record of leading operational transformation and delivering measurable improvements across people, processes and technology

  • Strong strategic, analytical and change management capabilities combined with a hands-on execution mindset

  • Business fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage

  • Willingness to travel across the South West Europe region as required
