Key responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain SAP target architectures, transition states, and multi-year roadmaps
  • Act as architecture authority for assigned SAP products and platforms
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution designs
  • Lead architecture reviews, design governance, and assurance activities
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and regulatory expectations
  • Drive simplification, standardisation, interoperability, and technical debt reduction
  • Support strategic programmes, investment decisions, and vendor assessments
  • Guide delivery teams and stakeholders without owning day-to-day delivery management
  • Maintain architecture documentation, decision records, and repository quality

 

What you need to succeed in the role: 

  • 8+ years of SAP experience
  • 2+ end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations
  • Strong experience in SAP FI/CO/AA
  • Strong understanding of finance processes such as: Balance Sheet and P&L, Tax determination, Asset accounting, Month-end closing
  • Experience in architecture, solution design, or design authority roles
  • Experience in large enterprise SAP environments
  • Experience with architecture governance and standards
  • Experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders
  • Strong Business English and German language skills
